International Standards for Judges

Refereeing is one of the most critical processes for a journal. It directly affects the prestige and scientific degree of the journal. Therefore, IJHAR maintains the arbitration process according to international standards.

Referees are required to comply with international standards after accepting the invitation to arbitrate. Accordingly, the referees of the International Refereed Journal of Human and Art Research are expected to voluntarily comply with the international standards (ethical principles determined by the Publication Ethics Committee (COPE). Referees,

• Evaluates all articles with a double-blind system.
• The information regarding the article should be kept confidential.
• It should bring to the attention of the Editorial Board all information that may cause the article to refuse publication.
• The articles should be evaluated in terms of scientificity.
• They should objectively evaluate articles based on their originality, importance, and relevance to the journal's field.
• Reviewers are independent of the authors. The author or those working in the same institution as the authors cannot act as referees.
• In case of any conflict of interest, the referees should notify the International Refereed Journal of Human and Art Studies.

Articles,

• Compliance with the writing rules of the journal,
• The structural and logical integrity of the work,
• The title, sub-title, and content harmony in the article,
• The suitability of the article in terms of language and expression,
• Compliance with Turkish spelling rules,
• Whether the Turkish summary includes the purpose, method, and results of the study,
• Whether the English abstract includes the purpose, method, and results of the study,
• The suitability of the method used in the article,
• Scientific presentation and discussion of the results and discussion,
• The significance and validity of suggestions and evaluations,
• The adequacy of the chart, figure, and visual in the article,
• The use of resources and the up-to-dateness of the relevant literature,
• The originality of the article and whether it contributes to the relevant field,
• Whether he has reached conclusions supported by solid evidence,
• Proposing a new idea or approach and seeking answers to new questions.
• Being prepared with the proper research methods,
• Correctly connecting with previous work in the field,
• Constructing a new theory or enhancing an existing one,
• It should guide scientific and experimental approaches, such as clarifying why and how data affect results.
